Data CoLAB is among the promoting entities for the Drivolution agenda

Data CoLAB is among the promoting entities for the Drivolution Agenda, which is one of the nine Mobilizing Agendas for Business Innovation within the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The list was disclosed in a public presentation session held on July 6 at the PCI Creative Science Park – Aveiro Region.

The main goal of the Drivolution Agenda is the transformation of the automotive industry, primarily through automation and digitalization, which will have a significant impact on the environment and the competitiveness of national companies.

The consortium led by Volkswagen Autoeuropa includes a total of 39 partners, including the University of Minho, Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC), NOVA University of Lisbon (NOVA), University of Aveiro, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, Porto Institute of Engineering (ISEP) – Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP), Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, CiTin – Industrial Technological Interface Center, CeNTI – Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials, Mobinov – Automotive Cluster Portugal, Pedro Nunes Institute, Faurecia, FI Group, SGS, among others.

The event aimed to present the developments and progress of their respective projects in strategic areas and "marks the conclusion of the presentation and contracting cycle of 50 mobilizing agendas of the PRR for business innovation, representing a total investment of 7.7 billion euros and having an approved total incentive of 2.7 billion euros," as stated in the Ministry of Economy and the Sea's press release.

The session concluded with remarks from the Minister of Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva.
